The 119th Time: A Sad Decision

Rein is suddenly feeling unwell. After an examination Tokiwa's parents tell her that her neuron chip cannot handle her two personalities at once and that she is probably going to disappear.
She tells Machina about her impending disappearance, but asks him not to tell anybody.
Rein asks Tokiwa for a date. Tokiwa is a bit confused, because she takes him to all kinds of places. She answers that he and her other self went on dates thousands of times, but did not have the chance to do the same.
She thinks to herself that she has only been alive for a little while. However, if it had not been for her other self she would not have survived the battle.
At the end of the day Rein thanks Tokiwa, says goodbye and runs away leaving a confused Tokiwa behind.
Later at night Machina visits Tokiwa in his room. Despite the promise he made, he tells Tokiwa about Rein's condition and that she is going to disappear tonight, because she decided to erase herself in order to save the other Rein.
Tokiwa dashes off to search for Rein and find her on the roof of their house. However, the Rein he encounters there is the other Rein. She tells Tokiwa that she is the one who is going to disappear. Tokiwa tries to stop her and wants to find a way to save both Reins with the help of Machina, Nenu and his parents. She tells him that she cannot let the Rein disappear who was born from their shared memories and who finally escaped the gallery of eternity.
Tokiwa confesses his feelings for her and Rein kisses him. After that she transfers the memories of the good times they shared together to him and disappears. The others are woken by Tokiwa's scream and visions of Rein and run outside.
As the other Rein dissolves Machina says: "Farewell, Rein. You have lived in the past and future... other self of mine."
